The SEO trends sections displays key data imported from Google’s Search Console. There are 4 metrics displayed.
Impressions: The total number of times a user saw a link to your shop after performing a Google Search in the most recent 7 day period.
Clicks: The total number of times a user clicked a link to your shop in Google in the most recent 7 day period.
CTR: The average number of times a user clicked on a link to your shop after viewing it in their search results.
Avg. Position: The position that a link to your shop appear on a search results page. 1 is the top position on the search results page with higher numbers appearing lower down.
As you work to improve your SEO you should see these 4 metrics trending upwards over time.
If your SEO metrics are trending downwards for several weeks then you may want to evaluate your SEO data further to determine why this is happening and devise a strategy for improving your results.
